The PreCISE Approach for Complex Energy System Modelling and its application via the Shared Data Platform (SDIP)
Following the official closing of the SmILES project, this webinar aims at further disseminating the project outcomes and presenting practical strategies to targeted stakeholders for applying the SmiLES methodology (PreCISE approach) to other energy system integration research projects.
SmILES - Smart Integration of Energy Storages in Local Multi Energy Systems for Maximising the Share of Renewables in Europe’s Energy Mix – pointed towards merging knowledge about smart integration of storage in hybrid energy systems (heat and electricity) at national level for a reasonable instrumentation of storage and renewable energy technologies at the European level.
The webinar will feature an introductory speech delivered by the European Commission (tbc) to present EU priorities in the field of energy system integration developed within the framework of the European Green Deal and in preparation of the Horizon Europe Work Programmes. Presentations of the PreCISE approach applied to the Shared Data and Information Platform (SDIP) software will follow. The SDIP serves as a common entry point for accessing all project results and the data collected and created within complex energy system simulation projects. The presentations will also showcase ongoing collaborations with other projects, with the purpose of replicating the model and further exploiting the results with other interested parties.
This event is by invitation only. If you are interested in participating, please contact Valentina Lisi.
