The 17th SET Plan Conference will take place in Viladecans, Barcelona (Spain), 13-14 November 2023. The Conference will be organised under the patronage of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in cooperation with the European Commission.
This year's theme, "Energy Research and Innovation for a Competitive Europe", highlights the need to reinforce the research and innovation landscape, to enhance competitiveness and sovereignty of clean energy technology value chains within the EU.

The SET Plan was launched in 2007 and aims to accelerate the development and deployment of low-carbon technologies through cooperation among Member States, industry, research institutions and other stakeholders, and in doing so, also deliver on the key objectives of the Energy Union. EERA is the official research pillar of the SET-Plan.
