SOLPART is an H2020-funded project focused on developing and implementing, for the first time at a pilot scale, a high temperature (800-1000°C) 24h/day solar process suitable for reactive particle treatment in non-metallic minerals industries, such as cement, phosphate or clay processing.

The SOLPART Info Day will present a panorama of the project’s main activities over the last 4 years, such as:

• an introduction into concentrated solar technologies applications for particle processing for the general public,
• the project’s main results and achievements in the field of solar calcination, such as solar heat in industry, environmental benefits, scaling-up, etc.

The event will take place on:

• Thursday 28 November 2019, with conference sessions on CSP and SOLPART (Toulouse, ENSACIET, France)
• Friday 29 November 2019, with a site visit of SOLPART Solar Facilities (CNRS-PROMES, Font-Romeu-Odeillo, France).
