EU-SOLARIS ERIC has opened applications for the second edition of its Annual Awards 2026, recognising excellence in the field of Concentrating Solar Thermal (CST) technologies and research infrastructures at European and international level.

The awards aim to foster scientific excellence and support the development of a strong research community around CST and related research infrastructures.

Two categories are open for applications:

• Best Doctoral Thesis on CST-related topics, defended between 2023 and 2025
• Outstanding Contribution to the Improvement of CST Research Infrastructures’ Capabilities and Services, recognising innovations achieved between 2023 and 2025

Winning teams will receive an award certificate, an invitation (full conference fee covered) for one representative to attend the next SolarPACES conference in June, and the opportunity to present their work during the EU-SOLARIS Doctoral Colloquium.

Applications are currently open and will close on 30 April 2026.
