EERA plays a key role in shaping the group's strategic R&I agenda, particularly through the development of the new Common Implementation and Investment Plan (CIIP), ensuring alignment with EU industrial decarbonisation and competitiveness priorities. EERA also supports the group's governance and strategic discussions, fostering collaboration between industry, research, Member States, policymakers and the wider SET Plan community.

Building on the work of SET-IndEU, the INDUCE project is the latest phase that continues to support the Secretariat of the SET Plan IWG-Industry, contributing to the group’s governance and strategic discussions and priorities. Through these activities, EERA and INDUCE facilitate collaboration between industry, research, Member States, policymakers and the wider SET Plan community.
