Coordinating energy research for a low carbon Europe
This event took place on 10th December 2014 in Rome, Italy.
The main challenge of the SET-Plan is to tackle climate change by rebuilding our energy supply system while ensuring security and competitiveness of European energy. EERA, as the broadest research alliance in Europe, can contribute to tackle this challenge enhancing R&D effort. However, a major cooperation with industry is needed. The event gave the panelists the occasion to discuss future perspectives for a closer and wider knowledge exchange between the energy research sector and industry.
