Coordinating energy research for a low carbon Europe
Patrick Child, Deputy Director General at DG Research & Innovation (European Commission), will be keynote speaker at the EERA/DTU joint event “Mission Innovation – what´s next?”, on May 24 in Copenhagen.
Patrick Child will address status and steps forward of Mission Innovation, the global initiative to accelerate clean energy innovation.
Other confirmed speakers include: Anders Hoffmann, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Danish Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate; Nils Røkke, EERA Chairman; Thomas Bjørnholm, Research Director of the Villum Foundation; Henriette Undrum, VP New Energy Solutions/Research & Technology, Statoil; Alicia Mignone, Chair of IEA (International Energy Agency) Committee of Energy Research and Technology; Hermann Tribukait, Task Force Leader of Mexico’s Mission Innovation team.
The DTU International Energy Report will be launched at the event, providing a research perspective on the Mission Innovation Challenges – the discussions will be chaired by the coordinators of the EERA Joint Programmes Smart Cities, CCS and Energy Storage.
