Coordinating energy research for a low carbon Europe
The EU-funded project INSHIP (Integrating National Research Agendas on Solar Heat for Industrial Processes) has opened a 2nd call for proposals under the recently established Infrastructure Access Scheme. The scheme is part of the INSHIP project and financed by the EU. It allows researchers, but especially industry players to use different facilities and exchange staff.
Access conditions and opportunities:
Proposals should be submitted in collaboration with at least two INSHIP project partners to perform activities related to the R&D work packages defined in the project. Only project partners can submit applications via the “Partners only” area on the INSHIP website.
More details on project partners and their infrastructures are available on the project website: www.inship.eu
The call for proposals is open until 31 December 2019.

The main objective of INSHIP is the definition of a European Common Research and Innovation Agenda (ECRIA) on Solar Heat for Industrial Processes (SHIP) through engaging major European research institutes with relevant activities in this topic. The project concept is based on the establishment of a coordination and cooperation framework promoting, among others, a shared research infrastructure on SHIP activities, through the identification of the existing infrastructures suiting the ECRIA research objectives and the promotion and support of joint research activities within the Consortium through the implementation of researcher mobility and infrastructure access schemes.
Complementary Coordination and Support Actions defined in the INSHIP project are focused on fostering the use of existing research facilities to create a European dimension and activities to support their access by the scientific community and the acceleration of knowledge transfer to the related European industry, at both end-user and technology supplier levels, in order to ensure the industrial European leadership on SHIP.
