Invitation to the workshop "Making the best use of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) in the clean energy transition"

Joint VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, EERA, and the European Commission (DG Energy and RTD) are delighted to welcome you to a lively discussion on the role and contribution of SSH in the energy transition, and its impact on energy citizen’s engagement.

With three panel discussions:

  • Session 1: Lessons from H2020 energy-SSH projects: how do these demonstrate the worth of energy-SSH and what are the policy recommendations?
  • Session 2: How do SSH feature, or not, in key EU/EC and or MS level policy documents?
  • Session 3: How can SSH contributions practically inform policy?

All the topics will include concrete examples based on recent H2020 R&I or other relevant projects.

The conference will be also accessible by webstreaming here.
