Energy Transition Workshop – the Pathway Towards a Low–Carbon Europe

The world needs an energy system that can provide power for an increasing population – and at the same time emit less greenhouse gas. Change needs to take place at the speed of a revolution. It will be crucial to find out what the future composition of the energy mix will be, and how change can be brought about to the energy sector.
This conference will assess the current state of implementation of the integrated energy system and debate the best possible future steps. All participants will have the chance to contribute to the debate, with a view to establish fruitful and rich exchange of views.

The workshop is an opportunity to discuss the road towards low carbon energy systems focusing on the integrated energy system we might see in the future and the importance of the role of consumers. It brings together EU policy makers, international academia and corporate actors.
