EERA supports the European Commission to making 2018 Energy Union´s year of engagement

EERA supports the European Commission´s statement, following up the Third Report on the State of the Energy Union, to making 2018 the year of engagement.

As a follow up to the Report – which shows the progress made towards Europe’s transition to a low-carbon society – the Commission calls for the need to further mobilise the society – citizens, cities, rural areas, companies, academia, social partners – to actively engage in developing the Energy Union. As the main energy research community in Europe, EERA will keep on supporting the European Commission in this effort, in close cooperation with industry and the other stakeholders.
