Coordinating energy research for a low carbon Europe
Fancy two years of research in Madrid? 21 fellowships are available as part of GOT ENERGY TALENT – COFUND Postdoctoral Fellowship programme (GET-COFUND), which are jointly funded by the University of Alcalá, the University Rey Juan Carlos and the EU through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND scheme (Grant Agreement 754382). EERA members Imdea Energía and CENER will be among the non-academic host institutions.
The experienced researches will propose a comprehensive and innovative research project in the field of Smart Energy, in an area that aligns with UAH/URJC’s research areas. Fellows need to identify a suitable research group and contact them prior to applying, in order to get the necessary feedback to complete their application.
Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply but must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Spain for over 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the call deadline. Applicants should also be in possession of a PhD or 4 years of full-time equivalent research experience immediately prior to the call deadline.
The deadline for submissions is 2 July 2019 (12:00 Spanish time). Applications will be peer-reviewed after the call deadline and results will be communicated to applicants during December 2019. Fellows should start as soon as possible after the communication of results and no later than May 2020.
