Coordinating energy research for a low carbon Europe
Dedicated to the EU SET-Plan Key Action “N. 1 in Renewables”, the 5th UNI-SET Clustering Event will take place at KU Leuven (31 May – 2 June). The event will offer a unique opportunity to highlight the key issues related to the integration of renewables in the energy system and the state-of-play of university curricula, research and innovation in the field.
World-class speakers, including academics, researchers, industry leaders and representatives of the EU energy policy sector will meet up in a dialogue-oriented event to address the theme, focusing in particular how universities can better contribute to tackle the transition towards a low carbon society.
The Clustering Events are platforms for high-level discussion and for partnering among stakeholders to establish collaboration. The events are organised in the framework of the FP7 UNI-SET project (UNIversities in the SET-Plan) coordinated by the European University Association (EUA) and implemented in partnership with KU Leuven, representing the universities in EIT InnoEnergy.
Registrations (free of charge) are open until 15th May. Due to the limited seats available, places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
