EU funded Enlargement Workshop with Grants "Materials resistant to extreme conditions for future energy systems" Kiev, Ukraine, June 12-14

The Workshop is funded by the EU Enlargement & Integration Action (E&IAT) and co-organized by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, the National Academy of Scienc-es of Ukraine (NASU), and the Joint Programme on Nuclear Materials (JPNM) of the European Energy Research Alliance (EERA).

The Workshop consists of: an overview system of challenges for different energy systems, five technical sessions (high temperature degradation; irradiation damage; and environmental degradation; structural materials development for energy applications; plant life management), and a networking session.   For each session there are keynote speakers and oral presentations.
